Description
The National Park Service (NPS) intends to issue Solicitation N2551103309 under full and open competition using commercial item procedures, for a Web Content Delivery Service and requires this service to be commercially available of sufficient scope and sophistication to redistribute content that is pushed to the Content Delivery Network (CDN) from the Content Management System (CMS) and to ensure optimal and reliable delivery of NPS managed information without additional costly infrastructure investments. This service must provide long term content delivery for sites with high traffic load and with high availability requirements. NPS further utilizes the CDN as a failover in the event that the CMS datacenter is unavailable. This requires cloud-resident disk space and a site backup strategy to be in place as well as automated fail-over. This solicitation will NOT be set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code for this solicitation is 518210 - Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services $23,000,000.00. The resulting contract from this solicitation will be issued as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with a Base period of performance plus four option periods of performance. The proposed IDIQ will have a $500,000.00 minimum ordering, and an $8,000,000.00 maximum ordering requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. The solicitation is intended to be issued on or about December 22, 2009. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement via e-mail to Heather_Madsen@nps.gov. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.
