- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), Bremerton, WA is soliciting for a firm, fixed price, supply type contract for 2 EA-32 Ton Abrasive Blast Systems per specifications provided in the forthcoming solicitation. The commercial solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside on or about 18 December 2009 with a closing date of 05 January 2010. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to marie.d.smith1@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidder list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. To be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13.5. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
