- Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work for projects 538-08-102 entitled Replace Elevator Building 210, 538-08-103 entitled Replace Elevator Building 211, 538-08-118 entitled Replace Elevators Building 26, 538-08-128 entitled Replace Elevators Building 1 and 538-08-132 entitled Replace Elevators Building 35 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio, 45601 as required by drawings and specifications. Work is to be completed within 480 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. NAICS 238290. Plans and specifications will be available this website https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about December 28, 2009. No hard copies will be issued. Estimated cost range is $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. A pre-proposal conference will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2009 10:00 am in Room 121, Building 1, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit for the project. Proposals are due on January 28, 2010. This procurement is issued as full and open competition. Large business firms are required to submit a subcontracting plan.
