- Description
- The NAICS Code is 541330. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Port Hueneme, California, intends to issue a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee Order on a sole source basis to BAE Systems, Armament Systems Division, 163 Rochester Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40214-2683, under Basic Ordering Agreement Number N00024-07-G-5438, to provide material and services required to manufacture, inspect, preserve, package and ship four (4) each ORDALT 15746 Kits. Period of performance is eighteen (18) months ARO. BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P., ASD, is the only qualified contractor within the United States capable of manufacturing, overhauling, upgrading and performing depot-level repair and service of the Navy's GWSRP Gun System. Only BAE has the necessary in-depth knowledge of Navy gun design, production, assembly, and testing techniques regarding these weapons, including the necessary tooling an in-house capability to build, repair and maintain these guns. BAE is the only known company with the requisite technical qualifications and facilities to perform the work in the required timeframe.
