- Description
- The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Willard Bishop for a 24/7 one year subscription to Total Store Grocery SuperStudy, a web-based portal and server providing access to grocery store SKU data, financial measures and profitability data across over 250 categories and subcategories. DeCA’s Product Support Division has a need for a comprehensive analysis on total store performance of the supermarket industry today, one which will address all key performance indicators. The study will provide key financial data to support category management reviews and plans. Period of performance will be 12 months. NAICS is 541613. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (not to exceed $100K). Place of performance is Fort Lee, VA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Vendors who believe they can meet the requirement may provide written notification to the contracting officer by 3:00 PM EST, December 15, 2009. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Vendors must also provide references and show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested vendors must provide a capability statement with the following information: Company name, Address, Point of contact, Telephone and fax number, email address, business size, and DUNS number. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Willard Bishop.
