- Notice of Intent to Sole Source Washington Headquarters Service, Acquisition and Procurement Office intends to award a 90-day bridge contract in order to continue ongoing work under the existing Lear Siegler Services contract on a sole source basis to the Lear Siegler Services, 595 Shrewsbury Ave Ste 201, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. WHS intends to acquire services which assist DDR&E’s Power Surety Task Force (PSTF) in accomplishing the objective of synchronizing Department efforts in the application of new technology to fuels and energy, in support of the Department’s Alternative Energy efforts in support of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (OUSD, AT&L), Office of the Director, Defense Research and Engineering (DDR&E). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by 2:00 PM, EST, December 26, 2009 by e-mail to kim.fernandez@whs.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete the bridge based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source and the cancellation notice will be posted on FedBizOps.
