- Description for Presolicitation Notice for VA-256-10-RP-0056 Inpatient Dialysis Services (nurses/equipment): Full and Open competition The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (VAGCVHCS), 400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS has a requirement for inpatient acute dialysis (on-site). The successful offeror shall provide continuous 7 days a week, 24 hours per day on call coverage for hemodialysis services at the bedside of acutely ill patients at the VAGCVHCS. The successful offeror shall provide properly trained, fully certified and non-physician personnel, who may include at a minimum Mississippi State Licensed Registered Nurses and a maximum MS State Licensed Registered Nurses and dialysis technicians. The successful offeror will also have the equipment, supplies, and all other necessary resources to provide dialysis services. Nephrology services will be advertised as a separate solicitation. This requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 621492. Size Standard Is $34.5 million. Contract period will be Date of Award through September 30, 2010 with two (2) one year option periods to be exercised at the Government's discretion. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15 and will be issued as an IDIQ Firm Fixed Price with single award. A solicitation (RFP) package will be posted on or before December 18, 2009 and may be obtained electronically at www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors are encouraged to use this web site to obtain a copy of the RFP in lieu of requesting a paper copy. Request for paper copies must be in writing and faxed to (228)523-4324 attention: Melanie Grigsby or emailed to Melanie.Hawley1@va.gov. All requests must include the RFP number (include as subject line of email), requestor's name, address, phone number, fax number, and an email address. By submitting a proposal, the Offeror acknowledges the Government requirement to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract or purchase order. Information about CCR registration may be found at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Award will be made on an all or none basis. It is anticipated that proposals will be due on or about January 15th, 2010.
