- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, North Little Rock, AR (VISN 16), is issuing a solicitation for Hazardous Waste Collection and Disposal for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. Service will require contractor to pickup, transport and properly dispose of 5, 15, 30 and 55 gallon containers of Hazardous Waste. Work will performed on a scheduled basis no less that twice per year for each VA facility identified in the statement of work. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR part 13.5 Commercial Items - Test Program. The RFP VA-256-10-RQ-0042 will be advertised as 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside under NAICS Code 562112 with a size standard of $12.5 million. Only offerors from those firms regularly established in business of providing this type of service will be considered. This solicitation will be advertised and available for download on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 15 December 2009. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any and all posted amendments. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing on company letterhead to include telephone number, fax number and point of contact to the Central Arkansas Veterans HC System Contracting Office, Thomas Yerkey, Contracting Officer, Bldg 41, Room 221, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72114, or fax 501-228-8651 no later than 30 December 2009.
