- The Government is requesting expressions of interest by owners of property in Jeffersonville, Indiana to lease to the Government three hundred (300) parking spaces in a parking facility (surface lot or parking structure) for a period of eleven (11) months beginning January 15, 2010. The area of consideration for the parking facility is within Jeffersonville, Indiana within the following boundaries: North- New Albany/Charlestown Road East- Holmans Lane/Allison Lane South -Ohio River West-Interstate 65 The parking facility should meet local codes for automobile parking, and should be paved with all pavement in good condition. The facility should be adequately lighted to satisfy the safety needs of the Government and its employees. The parking facility will be leased on a fully serviced basis with the Lessor providing all utilities and maintenance, including snow removal, debris removal and street sweeping. Shuttle bus service to the nearby government facility housing the employees that will be parking in the facility will be provided by the Government. The facility should have the capacity to be secured by a fence if deemed necessary by the Government as well as to accomodate closed circuit television cameras if deemed necessary by the Government. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence from the property owner that the broker/agent is authorized to represent the property owner.
