Description
This notice is not a solicitation. This announcement serves as sources sought notice for proposed contract being considered as a set-aside under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement to Install Generators, at Schriever AFB, CO 80912. The size standard for NAICS 238290 is $14 million. The Government is interested in all small businesses including (8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses that are interested in performing this requirement. Interested firms must reference their 8(a), HUBZone, Woman Owned or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned status that must be signed by a company official with authority to bind the company. This sources sought notice is also issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. All businesses capable of providing these services are invited to respond. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. The government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought synopsis. The 50TH Contracting is seeking potential sources that can provide work in the Replacement of Generators Building 600. The services consist of but not limited to the following requirements: Removal of existing generators 1, 2 and 3 and installation of three government furnished generators as well as installing and upgrading supporting mechanical and electrical equipment and accomplishing modifications and upgrades to control systems, mechanical and electrical systems in Building 600. Contractors interested in performing this requirement are invited to provide the following information: 1. Contractor Information: a. Company name b. Address; c. Point of Contact; d. Email address/Fax number; e. Business size (Small or Large), Disadvantaged/8(a)/ or HUB-Zone status (Socioeconomic Program) 2. If your company is not registered on the Central Contractor Registration website (https://www.bpn.gov/CCRSearch/Search.aspx), would you be interested in registering for future Government contracts? 3. How long have you been in business? Please provide at least 3 sources that can provide past performance. 4. What size business is your company (i.e. small or large)? How many employees do you have? 5. Have you ever performed government contracts? Please list the contract numbers. 6. Do you currently have personnel, which would perform these services? Do they have at least a secret security clearance? 7. Does your company have the vehicles and tools to perform these services? 8. Does your company provide these services or do you subcontract the work? Which requirements would be subcontracted? 9. Do you have current (within the past 3 years) and relevant experience in all areas of this requirement? If not, please list the specific areas that you have experience in. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(a) or any other set-aside arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement.
