- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to award on a sole source basis to IHS Inc. 321 Inverness Drive South Englewood, CO 80112. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is responsible for conducting reservoir analysis for Federal and Indian oil and gas reservoirs contained in Land Use Planning areas, over 25, 000 leases, parcels offered for Indian lease sales throughout any given year, unitiziation, communitiziation and other conservation agreements, as well as State oil and gas well spacing areas. BLM field office petroleum engineers, geologists, and technical support staff in well over 20 Field Offices throughout the U.S. must have access to a reliable Windows-based software program with exceptional functionality, flexible data integration, mapping and dynamic processing speed to literally get done in minutes what used to take hours. BLM staff relies on PowerTools for quick and easy screening as well as detailed evaluations of specific oil and gas projects secured through a corporate license agreement. PowerTools uniquely bundles: Reserve Analysis, Robust Economics, Well Spots and Scout Ticket Information, Mapping Labels, Bubbles, and Contours of Reserves Calculations, and U.S. Production Data, Land Grid and Lat/Longs.PowerTools was developed to interface with other well data systems and has tight links to well data browsers. Data updates, accessed from either well production CDs or through an online system, provide the latest historical information available and are done dynamically.This software application offers comprehensive solutions to reservoir management software needs.
