Description
POPE AIRMEN MINISTRY CENTER (PAMC) SINGLES MINISTRIES COORDINATOR STATEMENT OF WORK 1. Contract Position Title: Pope Airmen Ministry Center (PAMC) Singles Ministries Coordinator 2. Background: The "PAMC" is a relational ministry concept based upon a model that has proved successful on college campuses across our nation. Most college dormitories are staffed with one or two full-time live-in counselors who serve as friend, facilitator, and mentor personnel in the dormitory. The PAMC Project program employs a chapel contractor to access the dormitories and build a relational ministry with the single Airmen. 3. Scope of Responsibilities: The contractor will support the Pope Chapel program. The contractor will provide all non-personal services and materials, except as otherwise provided for in this contract. The contractor will provide outreach ministry organization and direction, volunteer development and training, support group coordination, planning meetings, reports, and retreats. Sensitivity and respect for other faith groups will be maintained. The program will have spiritual content and be structured so that Airmen will meet, learn, and grow in spiritual transformation, building authentic community, providing service to others and developing leadership skills. The contractor will ensure all activities are coordinated with the PAMC Director (hereinafter "Contract Monitor") for Pope AFB (PAFB). 4. Education and Experience Requirement. The PAMC Coordinator must: 4.1. The contractor shall have earned a college degree and have a minimum of three (3) years of experience working directly with single adults in established ministry organizations. 4.2. The contractor will have a working knowledge of American ethical values, social issues, and American life styles. The contractor must be able to work within a military structure and environment. 4.3. Furnish a resume including academic and work related references.
