- This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 562119, size standard $12.5 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA New Jersey Healthcare System is soliciting quotations from qualified, responsible businesses who have technical expertise and necessary resources to provide furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to collect and dispose of solid waste, including the collection and disposal of garbage, debris, and other discarded solid wastes resulting from day to day operation of the Medical Centers located at 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons New Jersey 07939-5001 and 385 Tremont Ave. East Orange, New Jersey 07018-1023. Contract will be effective January 1, 2010 through September 30, 2010 with four optional years. This solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ with an anticipated opening date of December 16, 2009. Offerors are responsible for obtaining any and all amendment or additional information via the fedbizopps website. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award (see Internet site: http://www.ccr.gov/). All offerors must submit their representations and certifications at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov. All quotations are to be submitted by either email, david.shemtob@va.gov, or FAX (718)741-4722, to the attention of David Shemtob or hard copy may be sent to James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Network Acquisition & Logistics (10N3NAL) 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468-3904 by December 30, 2009 at 12:00PM.
