- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for high speed internet service. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, As supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The announcement number is F1T3CL9338A001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 517110 with a size standard of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The technical requirements on the item are as follows: A requirement exists for high speed internet service to be supplied in the Eglin Inn rooms. The use of a satellite service will not be needed for this service. An escort is necessary for technician to install the modems into each room. The specifications in which this service will be needed is described as follows: 1) 144 modems will be installed in the designated rooms in the below locations. 2) Each modem shall be supplied at the 15.0/3.0 bandwidth. 3) The term will be one base year plus two option years.
