- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT RECOVERY- MOWING (approx 157 Acres), MULCHING (approx 19 acres), AND HANDWORK (approx 31 acres) IN THE SIUSLAW NF, LANE AND LINCOLN COUNTY, CENTRAL COAST RD, OREGON DUNES RECREATION AREA, WALDPORT, OREGON. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0136 on or about January 6, 2010, for the Recovery Mowing (approx 157 Acres), Mulching (approx 19 acres), and handwork (approx 31 acres) in the Siuslaw NF, Lane and Lincoln County, Oregon Dunes Recreation Area, Waldport, Oregon. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after January 06, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for Mowing (approx 157 Acres), Mulching (approx 19 acres), and handwork (approx 31 acres) in the Siuslaw NF, Lane and Lincoln County, Oregon Dunes Recreation Area, Waldport, Oregon. The contractor shall supply all services, labor, equipment and material, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals except those items, if any, listed as Government-furnished property needed to perform the following: Mowing (approx 157 Acres), Mulching (approx 19 acres), and handwork (approx 31 acres) in the Siuslaw NF Project in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract. The Government intends to award a negotiated firm fixed price contract. PROJECT LOCATION – Various Meadows throughout the Siuslaw NF, a map is available at the Central Coast/ODNRA District Office in Waldport upon request. The solicitation will have more information and map locations. PARTICIPATION. This acquisition is set aside for 100% small business. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561730. The size standard is $7 Million. The solicitation with specifications and Wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOps website www.fbo.gov. REGISTRATIONS.
