- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Acquisition Center intends to enter into a sole-source procurement with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). This proposed award is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) Tucson, AZ CMOP location has a requirement for Basic Records Management and Emergency Planning and Response for Vital and Essential Information (EVE) training for federal government employees whose duties entail specific records tasks. VA has determined that NARA is the only responsible source that provides this specific type of records management training. No other source provides this specific type of training to meet this requirement. This will be a firm fixed price purchase order award for one training period. NAICS Code 611430 and the Small Business Size Standard of $7.0 million apply to this procurement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
