- RECOVERY- TRANSLATION AND INTEGRATION OF WEATHER DATA FROM THE LOCALIZED AVIATIONMODEL OUTPUT STATISTICS (MOS) PROGRAM WITH FACET. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FORINFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS SBIR PHASE III OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO MOSIACATM AS A CONTINUATION OF PREVIOUS WORK DONE UNDER SBIR PHASE I CONTRACTS NNX07CA14P INORDER TO PROVIDE A MORE ACCURATE ESTIMATE OF AIRSPACE CAPACITY WHEN AFFECTED BY WEATHER. NASA/ARC intends to issue an Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III contractto Mosaic ATM; titled: Translation and Integration of Weather data from the LocalizedAviation MOS Program with FACET. The purpose of this SBIR Phase III is to develop methodsto acquire long range weather data (Beyond 2 hours) and integrate it into an existing airtraffic management tool and is funded by the Recovery Act. The original SBIR for the development of translation and integration of weather data fromthe localized aviation MOS program with FACET was awarded on a competitive basis under anSBIR Phase I contract; NNX07CA14P in FY '07. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This announcement will not result in a request for proposal; this announcement is forinformational purposes only.
