- Description
- After reconsideration, the Government will continue this procurement as a Design-Build as we only have about a 35% design. This project is O&M funds and not MILCON. MILCON funded projects do not require use of a two phase procurement approach. Being O&M funds with only a 35% design we will revise the solicitation to a two phase procurement process. The first phase will require a Technical Volume (experience and past performance) and no Price Volume. The second phase will be a Price Volume and Technical Volume (a streamlined technical approach). The plan is to leave the due date the same for the first phase, December 21, 2009, and have the second phase to the short listed offerors Dec 23 with Phase 2 proposals due Tuesday, December 29, 2009. The goal is to award by December 31, 2009 before funds are pulled.
