Questions and Answers: QUESTION 8. Specification No.1: How is chamber expected to achieve +350F with heaters limited to +250F as stated in Item 25? ANSWER: A 250F high temperature range within the compartment is acceptable. The limits are established for ammo/explosive testing however, in the event the customer chooses to achieve a 350F degree capability, the limit would be disabled or adjusted. The limit will control the heater surface temperature which is set at 250F allowing the heater to cycle as needed. QUESTION 9. Specification No. 29: Cannot find any reference to a Digitech Model 6714 or similar printer with a take-up reel, it maybe obsolete. Can this requirement be further clarified or alternate suggested? ANSWER. With the PWS citing or equivalent this allows vendors to assist the customer and conduct research and/or utilize their subject matter experts to determine if other options/suggestions are available. A suggested printer with take-up reel would be a Keltron (24-62 column, RS232 interface, 110VAC power input thermal printer) in place of the obsolete Digitek printer.
