- RECOVERYTAS::14 1041::TAS RECOVERY OLYM 005373, Construct Griff Creek Culvert This announcement is being issued in accordance with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This project includes the removal and replacement of the existing 5 foot diameter corrugated metal pipe culvert under Olympic Hot Springs Road with an aluminum open-bottom box culvert. The new culvert will have a span of approximately 26 feet in width. This project also includes excavation for the culvert footings, protection of adjacent utility systems, demolition of the existing culvert, regrading and addition of rip-rap and boulders to the creekbed, installation of the new culvert footings and culvert, backfill, paving and installation of a guardrail. This project has been set-aside as a sole source 8a contract to Watershed Environmental Solutions, LLC. No proposals are requested from other interested parties as a result of this announcement.
