- Description
- Request for proposal (RFP) for the operation of the North Texas Job Corps Center, located in McKinney, Texas will be available approximately January 4, 2010, in the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) website: http//www.fbo.gov. This procurement is a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a cost plus incentive fee for a 2-year base period of October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2012 plus three governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The approximate average capacity strength is 650 residential students. In addition, this contract will provide Outreach and Admissions services in the state of Texas and Arkansas for a minimum of 1,144 students annually and Career Transition Services annually for 817 graduates. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the North Texas Job Corps Center, 1701 N. Church Street, McKinney, Texas, 75069. There will be a tour of the facility following the conference. Upon entering the facility, participants must check with security and will be directed to the conference site. It is recommended that you download the RFP prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. Proposals in response to the RFP will consist of written submissions and possible oral presentations as described in Section L of the RFP. Written portions of the proposal are due by 12:00 p.m. local time Thursday, February 25, 2010 to the Dallas Regional Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
