- Description
- RECOVERY - Groundhog and Morrison Trail Bridge Replacement on the San Juan NF. Work includes, but not limited to, furnishing all material, equipment, transportation, labor and supervision necessary to construct two simple span, open web truss trail bridges. The Groundhog Trail Bridge crosses the Dolores River at Milepost 11.0 on Forest Trail 634. This project will replace the existing nail laminated bridge. The existing bridge is approximately 30 feel long and was constructed in 1959. The Morrison Trail Bridge crosses Bear Creek at Milepost 0.2 on Forest Trail 610. This project will replace the existing nail laminated bridge. The existing bridge is approximately 30 feet long and was constructed in 1959. Work for these projects shall include the following: Removal, transportation from site, and disposal off Government lands of the existing Groundhog trail bridge and Morrison trail bridge. Construction of the replacement bridges, approaches and trail work and all items identified in the solicitation. The project cost estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. A Payment Bond will be required per the Miller Act and Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractores must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award.
