- This is a sources sought notice for the sole purpose of identifying potential qualified sources for planning purposes and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has an immediate need for Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs) for test purposes. Specifications are listed as follows: 1. between 100 and 300 rounds are required 2. rounds must be new and in good condition with a dud rate of less than 2% 3. round types needed include any or all of a. RPG 7 b. RPG 7M c. RPG 7V d. RPG 7G e. RPG 7L f. Type 69 4. all required permits must accompany the rounds 5. rounds must be delivered to a test site in New Mexico or California 6. all rounds are required as soon as possible and no later than 30 March 2010 Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting a Capability Statement to both Dr. Karen Wood, Program Manager, at email address: karen.wood@darpa.mil and Mr. Chris Glista, Contracting Officer, at email address: christopher.glista@darpa.mil by 4:00 p.m. EDT on 15 January 2010. This request is NOT a request for competitive proposals and a solicitation is not currently available. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs to provide information in response to this announcement or any follow up information requests.
