- This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source purchase order by Materials Management Department of the National Institutes of Health at 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland, 20892 using simplified acquisition procedures for the commercial items (FAR Part 12) to Cardinal Health Care to perform services on large volume pumps. This is the manufacturer of the pumps and due to the manufacturer warranties, only Cardinal Health Care can provide this service. This agreement will include: • All labor and travel during standard hours of coverage Mon-Fri 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Excluding holidays. • Replacement of all defective parts. (Only “Original Equipment Manufacture” parts (OEM) can be used on equipment). • Provide software upgrades All responses received within 3 days of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. In any case, the government reserves the right to make an award to that offer or whose proposal provides the best overall value to the Government.
