- NAICS Code: 921110 The United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9, 75 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94105 intends to award a purchase order under FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures) to the City of Mountain View, CA. This order is for environmental and legal services in relation to the Record of Decision of the groundwater remedy for the Middlefield-Ellis-Whisman (MEW) Superfund Study Area in Mountain View, CA to address the subsurface vapor intrusion pathway. The justification is as follows: The City of Mountain View and its property owners, and tenants are significant stakeholders of EPA's proposed remedy for the vapor intrusion pathway at the MEW site in Mountain View, and Moffett Field, California. EPA anticipates relying on the City to help implement and provide the mechanism to monitor the institutional controls for the vapor intrusion remedy and therefore, it is imperative that the City be actively involved in the process. The estimated period of performance is from 01/04/10 to 03/31/11. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement may submit a response, which if received within two days of the response date of this announcement, will be considered.
