- The work includes, but is not limited to: NAS Jacksonville - Facility Investment (facilities operation, sustainment, maintenance and repair), Utilities Maintenance and Operations (including electrical, steam, water, and waste water), Base Support Vehicles and Equipment (BSVE) Operation and Maintenance, and Environmental Services. NS Mayport - Facility Investment (facilities operation, sustainment, maintenance and repair), Street Sweeping Service, Port Operations, Utilities Maintenance and Operations (including electrical, steam, water, and waste water), Base Support Vehicles and Equipment (BSVE) Operation and Maintenance, and Environmental Services. Bureau of Medicine (BUMED) - Facility Investment (facilities operation, sustainment, maintenance and repair). Blount Island Command (BIC) - Facility Investment (facilities operation, sustainment, maintenance and repair), Grounds Maintenance, Refuse Collection, Janitorial Service, Pest Control Service, Utilities Maintenance and Operations (including electrical), and Environmental Services. DOD activities within a 500 mile radius of Jacksonville, Fl. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561210 and the annual small business size standard is $35.5M dollars. The contract term will be a base period of one year, four one year options, and five award option years. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. This contract will replace a contract, N62467-00-D-2451, for similar services awarded in 2000. Information about the current contract and the incumbent contractor (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) will be included in the solicitation package. Requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. The anticipated date of RFP issuance is on or about the week of 4 January 2010 Large business concerns are required to submit a subcontracting plan prior to award of the contract. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical proposal, past performance and experience information, and a price proposal for evaluation by the Government. Offerors shall submit with their offer a bid bond of least 20 percent of the firm fixed-price portion of the contract under the bid submitted, but in no case to exceed $3,000,000.
