- The Department of Veterans Affairs North Texas Health Care System, Dallas, TX, has a requirement for electric service. Delivery to sites includes 21 scalar meters in Ft. Worth, Lancaster, Bonham, and Dallas TX and 1 IDR meter in Ft. Worth. The successful Offeror will supply this electric service for a period of 12 months beginning approximately 1 Feb 2010. Offerors are required to have certification by the Public Utility Commission (PUC) of Texas as a Retail Electrical Provider (REP). Request for Quotation VA-257-10-RQ-0079 will be issued approximately 17 Dec 2009. This acquisition shall be conducted through full and open competition and shall result in a single award of a firm-fixed price contract to the offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government, technical, past performance, and price considered. This North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 221122. The solicitation will be issued via the FedBizOpps. Telephone requests will not be accepted. All interested parties must register on the FedBizOpps site in order to receive notification or changes and/or new postings to the solicitation. All potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 52.212-4(t) all contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to conduct business with the Federal government. Lack of registration in the CCR database may make an offeror ineligible for award. The website is located at http://www.ccr.gov/.
