- RECOVERY - TAS:: 14 2302 ::TAS Project 9YH52006 RECOVERY ACT PLEASE NOTE that this is only an annoucement for an upcoming solicitation. There is NO solicitation package at this date. This notice is released to announce that the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Regional Office (WRO) intends to award a firm fixed price contract for a Window Replacement Project. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation / delivery / FOB shipping, and supervision for proposed Statement of Work and Drawings, to replace individual glass panels and glazing with new 1/4" thick glass and new glazing; clean and use existing glass panels; estimated 40% of the total panels to be replaced; replace aged rusted and broken casement windows with complete window units; estimate 5% of the steel sash casement windows to be replaced. PROJECT SITE is the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Theodore Roosevelt School, Dormitory Building No. 231, Navajo County, Fort Apache, Arizona, USA. Potential bidders are urged, and expected to inspect the project site where the work will be performed This solicitation is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), Public Law 111-5, and funds shall comply with ARRA statute and all applicable laws, regulations, provisions, policies, procedures, and clauses, including but not limited to meeting the requirements of Section 1512 of the ARRA, and other accountability and transparency conditions. The solicitation is a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE; the procurement method is Sealed Bid procedures under FAR Part 14 and 36. The anticipated release of the IFB solicitation document number RA001110022 will be on/or about December 31, 2009. This project is classifed under NAICS Code 238150, and has a size standard of $14.0 Million. A 20% Bid Bond is required with the bid package. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance are required after award of contract. After release of the IFB document, all technical questions must be submitted in writing at least ten (10) calendar days prior to the established Bid Opening Date. Response to questions will be posed on fedbizopps. Interested firms are requested to submit a written faxed request for the IFB package to Paul Robinson, Fax No. 602/ 379-6763; telephone requests to obtain the IFB package will not be accepted. Bid Opening will occur on the approximate date of January 28, 2010, Thursday, 2:00 PM Phoenix, AZ local time, in BIA WRO Room #450. Sealed bids are to be submitted to the following address: BIA, Western Regional Office, Division of Acquisition, Mial Stop 230, ATTENTION: Paul Robinson, 2600 N. Central Avenue, 4th Floor Mailroom, Phoenix, AZ 85004-3050. All responsive bids from responsible bidders will be considered; contract award will be made to the lowest price responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must have and maintain "active" Contral Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award from the Federal Government. To register or to learn more about the CCR, go to www.ccr.gov.
