- Description
- The intent for this contract is to secure services for road reconditioning and surfacing at the Big Flat Campground on the Smith River National Recreation Area (NRA), Six Rivers National Forest. Furnish all labor, equipment and materials to scarify, pulverize and compact existing chip seal on approximately 0.68 miles of campground loop road; install new aggregate base. Work shall consist of reconditioning of the existing campground loop road and camping spurs; clearing and excavation work to extend camping spurs; placement of aggregate base; placement of a prime coat, a double chip seal and fog seal on campground loop and camping spurs. THIS IS AN RFQ UNRESTRICTED UNDER THE COMPETITIVE DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. ESTIMATED START WORK DATE: Spring 2010 CONTRACT TIME: 30 Calendar Days PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: Will not be conducted. BONDING IS REQUIRED OF THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR AT TIME OF AWARD. The solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about January 5, 2010. Interested contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register at this website to receive email notification of any postings concerning this project, such as amendments.
