- RECOVERY-RECOVERY ACT*** U.S. Army Carlisle Barracks has a requirement to replace high voltage cables on the main loop at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania., in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings. The work to be provided is to provide all labor, material, and/or equipment to replace high voltage cables on the main loop at Carlisle Barracks. Magnitude of project is estimated between $100.000 and $250,000. In addition, bid bond, payment bond and performance bonds will be required for this procurement. It is expected that contractors will attend the site visit and thoroughly familiarize themselves with the project. NAICS code is 238210 and the size standard is $14M. This requirement will be unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Prospective vendors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System. Further information on registering with CCR may be obtained at website http://www.ccr.gov. The estimated release date of the solicitation will be on or about 31 December 2009; the solicitation will contain the actual due date of the proposals and actual date of site visit as well.
