- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotations (RFQ) number W911S0-10-T-0012 is applicable. This announcement constitutes the only RFQ; quotes are being requested with this announcement and a separate written document will not be issued. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions-clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332312 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is a 100% Small Business set-aside and quotes will be accepted and considered from vendors qualified under the above stipulated size standard. This solicitation closes at 11:00AM on 23 December 2009, late quotes will only be accepted if deemed in the best interest of the government. Freight on Board (FOB) is Destination (Fort Eustis, VA 23604). The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center Eustis (MICC Center - Eustis) requires the following items: Marine Fenders (2.0 ft diameter x 4.0 ft long ocean guard foam filled extra high capacity) 16 each; Marine Fenders (3.0 ft diameter x 5.0 ft long ocean guard foam filled extra high capacity) 18 each; Marine Fenders (4.0 ft diameter x 12.0 ft long ocean guard foam filled extra high capacity) 5 each; Marine Fenders (5.0 ft diameter x 10.0 ft long ocean guard foam filled extra high capacity) 6 each. This RFQ is issued through FedBizOps. Evaluation will be Best Value - Tradeoffs and will take into consideration the technical acceptability of the the item offered, warranty and past performance. Award may be to other than lowest priced offeror. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions may result in the quoter being determined unacceptable. Offer must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award can be made to them. Registration can be completed by going to the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. All quotes must be valid for a minimum of 30 calendar days after submission. In accordance with DFARS 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Request and Receiving Reports, the contractor shall submit payment requests electronically using Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
