- Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(a)2(b), the U.S. Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Testing Machines, Inc. of Ronkonkoma, NY, to supply a Lawson Hemphill brand, high-precision lab knitter that will be used to produce accurate and reproducible fabric samples for testing dyeability, appearance, and flammability. Testing Machines, Inc. is the only authorized dealer for Lawson Hemphill. Lawson Hemphill is the only contractor which produces a fiber analysis knitter with the desired capabilities. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the U.S. Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, via e-mail at jonathan.lehmann@us.army.mil. no later than 4 January 2010, 10:00 am EST.
