- DESC: 1025-01-090-8048, Part Number: 10887978, The item to procure is a Trunnion Cap (1025-01-090-8048) (P/N 10887978) is used on the M109 Howitzer and machined from a Steel Casting, Grade 105-85, carbon.32% Max and has the following processes performed: normalize, quench, temper, magnetic particle, radiographic inspection and the S9 Charpy V-Notch Impact Test per Spec ASTM A148. The part is approximate 13 inches x 4.12 inches x 6.25 inches in size. 60 each, Trunnion Cap. FOB is Destination. For use on the M109 Self propelled Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 28 Dec 2009. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
