- Description
- ARRA – The scope of work for the reroofing project will consist of removing the existing roof and installing a new roof system. The building is over 50 years old, making it eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. As a result of the building’s eligibility, care will have to be taken not dramatically change the appearance of the building. Architectural shingles similar to those already on the building will be required. The roof is sloped 4:12 and the roof area is approximately 17,570 ft2. The area given is this scope is approximate; the Contractor will be responsible for obtaining the exact measurements of the roof. The Contractor shall not permanently remove mechanical equipment mounted to the roof. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is set aside for Small Business concerns. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on/about Tuesday, January 19, 2010.
