- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334111, and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure GE Fanuc brand computers and VME switches, on a sole source, firm-fixed price basis, from GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms Embedded Systems, Inc., 12090 S. Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, AL, 35803-3308. The sole source justification is based on the requirement to have hardware that matches as closely as possible the target tactical hardware configurations on Navy ships. Procurement requirements include: CLIN 0001: 6 each - 6U VME Single Board Computer (P/N PPC8A-1H6ABB4); CLIN 0002: 2 each - VME Switch (P/N RM921N-000000240-C); CLIN 0003: 1 each - VME Switch (P/N RM921-160004041); CLIN 0004: 1 each - VME Switch (P/N RM921N-160004041). Please include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination in quote. Provide an estimated delivery date for each CLIN item on the quote. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm-fixed price. DFARS 252.211-7003 (Item Identification and Valuation) is applicable to this purchase. Pricing shall be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 22 December 2009, no later than 2:00 PM (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date of 6 January 2010.
