Description
Solicitation SPM4A6-10-R-0330 will contain one NSN1450-00-414-7172 for a Sling Hoist; Application/ Weapon System: Mk 105 and TICONDEROGA (NAVY ship). This requirement will be solicited for award of a Stock/DLA Direct Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The award will be for a Firm Fixed Price contract with a 100% option quantity. Solicitation will be procured IAW available drawings as a Small Business Set-Aside; Full and Open Competition after Exclusion of Sources procedure. A First Article Test (FAT) requirement is required for 1 unit. Waiver of FAT is authorized and must be requested when the proposal is submitted. You are still required to quote FAT pricing even though waiver may be requested. Failure to do so may result in your offer determined to be unacceptable. Production Lot Testing is required and will not be waived. The Basic Production Quantity is 3606 each. PLT will be based on 2% of the each product lot. Delivery: FOB: Destination; Inspection /Acceptance: Origin, Delivery Schedule 418 days ARO if FAT is waived/ 628 days ARO if FAT is not waived. Surge coverage is not required for this NSN. Specifications, plans or drawings related to the procurement described are available and will be posted in the C folders. Instructions for obtaining the drawings will be posted in the solicitation. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation issue date is ESTIMATED at January 5, 2010. Please allow 2-3 days for the drawings and solicitation if they are not available on the ESTIMATED posting date. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the Business Systems Modernization DLA Internet Bid Board System http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP. From DIBBS homepage, select Request for Proposal (RFP) under the Solicitations heading. In the Search Categories click in the Solicitation Number and type the RFP you wish to download and click the Submit button. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to vendors expressing an interest in the requirement.
