Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE: The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire G2 KEG software licenses FROM Knowledge Automation Partners, Inc. (54ZC2). Delivery will be made 15 dys after award. THIS PROCUREMENT IS A SOLE SOURCE ACQUISITION WITH Knowledge Automation Partners located in Gaithersburg, MD under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Knowledge Automation Partners has the exclusive rights to sell Gensym's products to the government and we believe they are the only organization able to provide the G2 KEG software licenses. The software licenses will directly support United States Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) J9. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all proposals received within three (3) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. We anticipate awarding a firm fixed price contact.
