Description
The Department of the Navy, NAVSEA, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Northwest Regional Maintenance Center (PSNS & IMF, NWRMC), Industry Management Department, Code 400 Div., contemplates award of an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award type contract, with Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and potentially Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery orders from this solicitation. The forthcoming solicitation will be awarded in accordance with the Navy Homeport Policy. Primary purpose of the resultant contract is to support Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in accomplishment of their mission for Depot-Level preservation on USS Naval SSN, SSBN & SSGN Class submarines and USS Naval Carriers located at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Bremerton, WA Controlled Industrial Area (CIA), Naval Base Kitsap, Bremerton, Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor, Waterfront Restricted Area (WRA) and Naval Station Everett with single coa! t "Fast Clad ER Epoxy". The Government will provide following facilities (unless otherwise specified in an individual delivery order for the performance of work): Puget Sound Naval Shipyard piers, dry docks and/or Naval Station piers at Bremerton, Bangor and Everett, Washington. Under this contract, each Delivery Order will specify details of the requirement including work specifications, period and place of performance. A minimum of 70% of the contract performance, per Delivery Order shall be performed by the prime contractor unless a waiver is requested and granted by the Government. To be eligible to work on this contract, the contract awardee must have on staff or be able to identify how they will be able to provide a minimum of twenty (20) individuals that are U.S. citizens with a clearance level of Confidential or above (Red Badge) within 30 days of contract award. Offerors Must have knowledge and understanding of NAVSEA Standard Item 009-32 as a minimum as well as all other requirements and standard items identified in the solicitation. The subsequent solicitation is expected to be full and open competitive. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
