Description: The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, Port Hueneme, California intends to modify contract N63394-06-D-1170, Cost Plus Award Fee type, to extend the contract period of performance for six months through 30 June 2010. This extension will allow for uninterrupted Aegis Weapon System engineering and technical support services. Current contract was solicited on a sole source basis from Lockheed Martin Services, Incorporated (LMSI), Gaithersburg, MD. LMSI is the Design Agent and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Aegis Combat System. A Justification and Approval (J&A) was approved for this extension on 16 December 2009. Notes 22 and 26 apply.
