Description

RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PLATTE PIPELINE GABION CROSSING, LOCATED IN WASHAKIE COUNTY, WYOMING. HUBZone set-aside. THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED FROM THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009. The Bureau of Land Management, (BLM), Department of the Interior, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for the Platte Pipeline Gabion Crossing project. Work shall include furnishing labor, equipment, supplies and materials to install a gabion low water crossing on Fifteen Mile Creek at the Platte Pipeline Road. Furnish and install approximately 168 feet of 3x24 gabions and approximately 260 of 9x24 gabions including filter cloth. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 237990, with a size standard of $33.5 million. The cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The anticipated period of performance is 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The acquisition shall be set aside for HUBZone small business concerns. This announcement serves as the advanced notice for the project. It is anticipated the solicitation package will be available approximately February 01, 2010 for download. To obtain the solicitation and/or amendments/updates for this project, contractors shall register and download from FedConnect (https://www.fedconnect.net).
