Description
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Pacific intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for elementary classroom furniture & learning supplies for its elementary schools located in Japan, Korea, Okinawa, and Guam. The Government will require offerors to have a virtual catalog that allows online order placement and payment via Government Purchase Card (GPC); specific details will be provided in the solicitation. T his requirement will be procured utilizing a lowest price technically acceptable source selection evaluation process in accordance with FAR Part 15. <ins datetime="2009-12-22T14:59" cite="mailto:ralph.neely"></ins> Contractors are advised that questions and comments should be reserved until after the issuance of the solicitation. This office will not respond to any inquires received prior to the issuance of the solicitation. Specific offeror submittal requirements and specification information will be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HE1260-10-R-3001 to be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website on or about 22 January 2009, to close 30 days from RFP issuance date. The anticipated award date will be on or about 1 March 2009. The Department of Defense requires all offerors and contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR Part 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The Contract Specialist for this requirement is Ms. Jennifer Knutson.
