- Please note that this is NOT a request for SF330's or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents.The Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center (RLR VAMC), Indianapolis, IN, is conducting a market survey for qualified small businesses (including Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) capable of providing the required A/E services outlined below for the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Applicable NAICS code is 541330 size standard $4.5 million. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than January 6, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Description of work to be performed includes: The Architect/Engineer A/E firm shall provide all tools, equipment, material, labor and supervision necessary to accomplish, prepare, and furnish design drawings, specifications, construction documents, and detailed cost estimates for: Replacement of all domestic hot and cold water lines within the "C-Wing" portion of the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, including the horizontal lines located within the buildings crawl-space. Construction of a new Pipe Chase, including all related work and renovation within each floor of the facility to allow for this addition, which is to be built in accordance with all NFPA requirements for vertical openings. Replacement of all shut-off valves associated with the existing lines within the C-Wing. New shut-off valves shall be included on every floor with appropriately sized access panels. A/E firm shall also provide Construction Period Services to include site visits. The design completion period is 121 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than January 6, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category (Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this sources sought announcement.
