- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009. Interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-82B1-S-10-0098 on or about January 6, 2010, for the RECOVERY Nez Perce Forest-Wide Roadway Brushing Project. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after January 6, 2010 to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition will be distributed solely through this website. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201, however, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The purpose of this project is to maintain roads by performing roadway brushing services. The specific roads to be brushed will be identified under task orders placed under the contract. The intent of the contract will be to provide for the complete project described in the contract. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and supervision to perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. PROJECT LOCATION. The roads included in the project are located within the Nez Perce National Forest in the state of Idaho. PARTICIPATION. This project is set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237310. The small business size standard is $33.5 million average annual income for the last 3 years.
