Description
RECOVERY – NO REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS WILL BE ISSUED TO THE PUBLIC. TELEPHONE CALLS/E-MAILS CONCERNING THIS PROJECT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED/RETURNED BY THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE AWARDED BY ISSUANCE OF A DELIVERY ORDER UNDER AN EXISTING INDEFINITE DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY (ID/IQ) CONTRACT WITH NATIVE AMERICAN SERVICES CORPORATION (NASCO), CONTRACT NO. HHSI161200900004I. The Contractor shall perform the removal of damaged left in place of roof shingles, repair of damaged roof deck, repair and/or replacement of eaves/rakes, prime all surfaces, install new metal and/or cladding for valleys, hips, ridges, eaves, corners, rakes, miscellaneous flashing, gutters, down spouts, splash blocks, all miscellaneous fasteners, roofing felt over existing shingles, installation of new preformed metal roofing, apply non slip surface up to and around HVAC units, remove/reset of mechanical equipment, final connection of existing venting and electrical connections at the equipment source, coordination of construction with IHS service unit maintenance department, installation to be according to manufacturers specifications for a complete roof system. Roofing material for residential use is equal to Pro-Panel II 29 gauge metal and 26 gauge metal for seamless gutters. The project site is at the Chinle Service Unit and within the boundaries of the township. There are 47 units with different roof designs approximate square foot of roofing area is 231,470. Environmental hazards have been investigated and environmental material has been found. These include but not limited to roof cement at all roof penetrations. All work shall be completed while allowing Chinle Indian Hospital to continue daily operations of providing medical services for the Native American populations serviced. Chinle Indian Hospital is located in Chinle, Arizona near four corners. The magnitude for this project requirement is between $500,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This requirement is for a proposal leading to the issuance of a delivery order under a competitively awarded Job Order Contract (JOC) for the Navajo Area Indian Health Service (IHS).
