- RECOVERY - 900MHz Ethernet Radios The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Cascades Volcano Observatory has a requirement for three hundred-sixty six (366) 900MHz Ethernet digital radios for delivery to Vancouver, Washington. This requirement is specifically for 260 (ea) long range Ethernet/serial digital radios, 92 (ea) high speed Ethernet/serial radios, and 14 (ea) long range Ethernet digital radios. The minimum required salient characteristics will be available for review in the solicitation. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, firm-fixed price contract and will utilize procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial items with several scheduled deliveries commencing 90 days after award of the contract. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about 15 Jan 2010. A formal solicitation is not available for release at this time. This requirement is restricted as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees. There is no incumbent contractor. Full funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract.
