Description

Recovery-The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Region 5, is planning a solicitation for the removal of asbestos and demolition of Quarters #99 located at Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued. An award will be made to the qualified contractor offering the best value to the government. The project consists of the removal of materials containing asbestos from the building, demolition of the building, a septic system to be abandon properly, air conditioners and a large oil tank, all to be properly disposed of offsite in accordance with State and Federal regulations. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code for this acquisitiom is 238910. The solicitation package including the Technical Specifications and RFQ documents, will be posted to www.fbo.gov on or about January 8, 2010. Quotes will be due on February 1, 2010 by 4:00 p.m. EST. A contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov, and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov, to be eligible for award. Department of Labor - Davis Bacon wage rates will apply to this work.
