Description

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Breeze Eastern Corporation, 700 Liberty Ave., Union, NJ 07083-8107 for 3 each, Control Panel Aircraft, P/N EC-23100-2, 3 each Controller Aircraft, P/N CP-1100-2, 3 each Cable Assembly, P/N EC-14170-2 and 3 each, Control Panel Aircraft, P/N EC-23075-2 for the Black Boxes for the Rescue Hoist Ground Support Systems for aircraft fielded for USSOCOM. The proposed action is for items that are designed, developed and manufactured by Breeze Eastern Corporation and the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this item or equal are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 336413; the business size is 1000 employees. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 7 January 2010.
