Description
Draft Statement of Work The contractor shall monitor the implementation by States and sub-recipients of the State Fiscal Stabilization Program (Stabilization) and Race to the Top (RTT). Monitoring for the Stabilization Program and Race to the Top will include the annual submission of a performance report for each program, as well as activities to ensure that Stabilization funds recipients are implementing their programs as allowed and approved, and that they are transparently accounting for expenditures and activities. The contractor shall provide services beginning with the award date of the contract for a 48-month base period with no option periods. This requirement falls under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The United States Department of Education (ED) is seeking comments on the draft statement of work for the above-referenced requirement and is seeking interested parties for this requirement. ED is also seeking feedback from offerors as to whether this procurement can be priced as a firm-fixed price contract, or if additional information would be needed. Also, please address whether your company can write a statement of work for this requirement, if ED provides a statement of objective. If a contractor is chosen to write a statement of work, they will be prohibited from competing on the follow-on contract. If you are interested in this requirement, please include whether your organization is a small business. Responses to this notice are due no later than 5:00 PM EST on Tuesday, January 12, 2010.
