Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Combined Synopsis and Solicitation No F2QT049328A001-LBN-03: Continued Extended Support for Brand Name Existing D.T. Media Insight Software. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) FAC 2005-38 Effective December 10, 2009. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 611420 with a size standard of $6.5. Millions). Basis for award will be best value to the Government. The scheduled Date of Delivery will be within 10 Days after Award. Period of Performance for the software support will be for twelve (12) months beginning 10 January 2010 through 9 January 2011. The United States Air Force Targeting Center (AFCT))has a requirement for Extended Software Support for off-the shelf software developed by DT Media to provide the following continued software support supplied by DT Media a. Continued provision for upgrades and bug fixes.,b. Access to Senior Product Support Engineers with unlimited support incidents to include email, telephone and fax support, with a 1-day response time, c. Changes to stay current with new revisions of underlying technologies and third party products, such as Microsoft Windows; thus ensuring the product are available for use with the latest operating systems and platforms, d. Advice on the documented features of Insight Recognition Training System, e. Advice on how to troubleshoot unexpected behavior encountered while using their features, f. Annual liaison visit, g. Annual software upgrade. Delivery and Acceptance will be FOB destination. All inquires must be received by 1 CONS/LGCA no later than 12:00 PM-EST, 5 Jan 2010. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following DFARS clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: 252.204-7004, Alternate A. Addenda to FAR 52.212-5: The following additional clauses apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.233-2, Service of Protest: (a) Protest, as defined in section 33.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, that are filed directly with an agency, and copies of any protests that are filed with the General Accounting Office (GAO), shall be served on the Contracting Officer.
