- Amendment 01 to NTSBR100002. See attachment for details. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NTSBR100002 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-32. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611710 with a small business size standard of $7 million. This requirement is issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The offeror shall provide training of the PA302 - Managing Communications During An Aircraft Disaster and Crisis Communications course. Provision of training involves the design, presentation, and evaluation of practical exercises for each course delivered. The scope also includes the redesign and reworking of the PA302 Managing Communications During An Aircraft Disaster course into the Crisis Communications course while ensuring that all critical elements of the instruction and content are met. Customization of the Crisis Communication course may be required to accommodate the specific instructional needs of the participants. It is anticipated that the Managing Communications During An Aircraft Disaster course will be held at the NTSB Training Center, 45065 Riverside Parkway, Ashburn, VA 20147. The Crisis Communications course shall be delivered at various locations (to be determined at the time of scheduling each course). The classes will generally be held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The anticipated period of performance is for one base year and four option years. SEE ATTACHED RFQ FOR A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT AND APPLICABLE FAR PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES. Your proposal must be received no later than 5:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time (EST), on January 19, 2010. LATE PROPOSALS SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
